Our experience is that not everyone is quite ready to get value from the training right now. Following the steps above should make it clear to you whether this is something for you now, or not.
If you find yourself agreeing with these following statements, then maybe it's not right for you, right now- you might want to spend some time thinking about it some more or maybe talk to a practitioner-they are always willing to have an informal chat with you to give you some pointers as to what you might need to do.
We consider you are probably not ready yet to take the training if:
1 You are cynical about the process.
Having said that, we do expect people to be a bit unsure as to whether they will get the same results as the cases reported on this website- that seems entirely reasonable based on many people's histories of lack of success with other approaches.
However there is a huge difference between
- being uncertain of the outcome of the process whilst at the same time deciding to put your all into the training process to make sure you get full value from it
- or just turning up to prove that it won't work for you, or seeing how it goes.
2 If you doubt that the video footage is genuine.
3 If you'd like to give it a go and see what happens.
Because the process success is entirely dependent on YOU making changes to the way YOU think, we find that the level of commitment you have to making sure you get the benefits of the process is the most important factor in making a rapid and lasting recovering- remember this is not a treatment, it's training, and the tools of the process are only powerful when they are used as taught.
4 Certain ways of thinking are very valuable in certain fields, being cynical and analytical are great in Law and science, but not that useful in emotional relationships.
We find that a cynical mind doesn't necessarily prevent you from benefiting from the process, but it does mean it will take you much longer to get changes as you will be focusing on your usual analytical thoughts rather than doing the process.
If you are of a cynical persuasion can you allow yourself to be ready to let this pattern go whilst undertaking this training?
"I met my girlfriend, Vikki a year ago, attractive and chatty I was keen to take her out. Her early email and telephone conversations were frank and honest as she revealed fifteen years trying to cope with ME, the various treatments she had tried and the impact it had had on her friends, family, work and domestic life.
What could I do or say?
Well I simply said "All I can do is walk alongside you and see what happens".
A year later we are still seeing each other and the contrast in that time is amazing due to the "Lightning Process".
Vikki was struggling with bursts of adrenaline causing her to crash and burn. Enrolling on Phil Parker's Lightning Process the training program was, for both of us, a revelation. In just those three days whilst on the training program we were able to go out for three meals in as many days, walking to the local restaurants. Before LP we had been going out once every two weeks and had had to get the bus for a one stop journey
Since then it has been onwards and upwards regularly going out watching bands, to restaurants, seeing family and friends. Thoughts are now turning to adventurous holidays.
It's easy to be skeptical about the Lightning Process, I was. However the results for Vikki have been amazing and I'm now not walking alongside her but very much being led by her."
