The Phil Parker Lightning Process® for Depression

"Depression is quite common, and about 15% of people will have a bout of severe depression at some point in their lives." NHS Direct

Welcome to this site which we hope will answer some of your questions about depression and the Lightning Process (LP). Having supported many people with depression on their path to happiness we know how complicated finding solutions and answers can be; your local practitioner is there to support you as you find more about the LP and will be very happy to answer any questions you may have.

A huge part of the spiral of depression is the sense of powerlessness and hopelessness that make recovery seem a distant dream. However 80%* of people reported that they no longer had depression by day three of the Lightning Process course. The Lightning Process helps by teaching a set of tools which have enabled people to change their mood, restore better hormonal and neurotransmitter function and help people rediscover how to influence life promoting behaviours.

Please visit our 'How does it work?' page to find out more.

*Of the 440 people who said they had Depression 352 (80%) reported that they no longer had Depression by day 3 of the LP course.

Imogen's feedback

"I am 25 years old and did the Lightning Process a year ago. I had suffered from severe depression, which eventually led to a complete breakdown at university and subsequently a few months spent in the Priory Hospital. Despite the Priory being a ‘safe haven’ it did not focus on a way of overcoming my ‘problems’ and my depression continued, if anything got worse" Read Imogen's full story here

Martin's Feedback

"Being a non-ME/CFS patient, I felt at first a little doubtful about whether the Lightning Process would be as effective for me as it apparently has been for those with that condition, including a friend of mine, who first alerted me to the Process and its remarkable results." Due to the nature of the training we cannot guarantee results as everyone is different, however we have received a considerable amount of positive feedback from clients with the varied symptoms that many people with depression experience.
