The Phil Parker Lightning Process® for Addiction

"Addiction means not having control over doing, taking or using something, to the point that it may be harmful...you cannot control how you use whatever you are addicted to, and you become dependent on it to get through daily life." NHS Direct

Welcome to this site which I hope will answer some of your questions about addiction and the Lightning Process (LP). Over the years I have worked with many people with addiction issues, using a variety of apporaches, and know how complicated finding solutions and answers can be. As you browse the site I am sure there will be some questions that you need answering by talking to a real person. Please use the 'Find a Practitioner' page to find your local practitioner who is there to support you as you find more about the LP and will be very happy to answer any questions you may have.

Addiction is a complicated interaction of behaviours and altered body chemistry, as being addicted to a substance can produce a physiological as well as a psychological need for it. Current rehab programmes offer hope, but with about 58% of treated adolescents failing to complete a 12 month period of abstinence following treatment, compared to a 34% failure of treated adults, there is a clear need for additional approaches. The Lightning Process looks at how you can start to rebalance your internal physiology whilst changing your behaviours to make better decisions about your true needs, future and health.

Due to the nature of the training we cannot guarantee results as everyone is different, however we have received a considerable amount of positive feedback from clients with the varied symptoms that many people with addiction experience.
